WE LOVE YOU, NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

New York Fashion Week kicked off September 4th starting off with designers such as BCBGMaxAzria, Jay Godfrey, Tadashi Shoji, Marissa Webb, Grungy Gentleman and much more. The week-long fest will see trendsetters all across the city with more than 250 shows. A lot more known designers include Lacoste, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Tory Burch, Betsey Johnson, Anna Sui, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein will be dominating the week. Fashion is not just art but an economic lifeline in New York.

With social media being the current trend including Twitter and Instagram, fashionistas everywhere are as eager as ever to catch all the looks online. BCBG has promised that most pieces will be available to purchase on Instagram and a phone app immediately after its show.

Around 230,000 people are expected to arrive into New York City for the week. Although most won't be able to attend, their will be a lot of live streams available online, including the official website for the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. The event will not only be taking place on a catwalk this year, but beyond that, including Central Park.

My personal favorite designers that I am over the moon excited to see include BCBGMaxAzria, Michael Kors, Project Runway, and Vera Wang. The runway shows will travel next to London, and then make its way through Milan, Sydney, Istanbul, Tokyo, Toronto, Moscow, and then finish off in Zurich. Be sure to watch the live stream on mbfashionweek.com/live to keep up with all the Spring/Summer 2015 trends!
