STYLE SISTERS

My best friend and I have always been the type who are up to trend, and always cautious about we are wearing. I find that we are literally always stalking pictures from the Kardashians to pick and choose which outfits we like. She helps me pick out awesome magazines that I can gain some inspiration from, which is how I found out about these amazing magazines like Hobo and Pigeons & Peacocks. I often find myself messaging her whenever I need help with an outfit, and vice versa.

A THANK YOU

This is for my best friends. The two people who helped me get through the toughest year thus far, the two who talk to me everyday – constantly, the two who spend WAY too much time at my place eating pizza in my dining room. Thank you, I love you, I hope I never have to be without the both of you.

I have a very unique friendship with Sam and Kayla. It’s unique due to our individual relationships with one another in our group.

My relationship with Sam is weird to explain. She’s my soul mate in that friend way. Sometimes I can just look at her and know what she’s thinking. Maybe it’s the fact that we’re both big on reading or that we’re both writers, nonetheless I’m grateful to have her in my life. I can talk to her about social issues, sex, politics, and writing. Sometimes we don't even have to speak, sometimes we just lay in my bed in silence reading poetry or browsing through social media on our phones.

ADVICE FOR YOU AND YOUR BFF

It’s been a long journey with this one particular person I call my best friend, but I would rather call her a sister. She’s been a part of my life since third grade, and here we are today in our second year of college. There is no one on this earth who knows me better than she does; heck I sometimes think she knows me better than I know myself. We have gone through so much together it’s crazy. Our journey has taken us through all the good and the bad, and hopefully not too much more of the bad.

Remember, it’s always important to talk out problems between you two, even if you have to be the first one to bring it up. It’s better to have it all out of the way sooner and have a full understanding between you two. There have been times in our relationship where we didn’t talk directly to each other and things got around between people and it just made everything worse in the end. I know that it may seem scary, but you won’t regret it. In high school, we had plenty of little quarrels and those were the worst. People like to stick their noses in other people's business and it just makes everything worse in the end. Words can get twisted and misconstrued and that turns out problematic for both of you.
