Finally, it's Friday!
Luckily, Wednesday was my last day of school this week thanks to New Jersey public schools having off on Thursday and today. Not only that but there's only one more week left until it's the week of Thanksgiving. The thought that I can almost smell the delicious food that's going to be eaten is the only thing getting me through these next weeks.
Enough about holiday meals, let's talk a bit about this issue.
Keeping with the "Thinking Globally" theme for this week, the wonderful Caitlin has given us an insight on Japanese pop in her article 'Music: A Mighty Unifier' and talks about her interest in learning more about her culture and where she's from through music. Gabriella wrote a fantastic piece on cultural appropriation in fashion which is SO important to understand and appreciate. And finally, Lyncoln wrote an inspiring piece on why you should appreciate your feet. I know, it might sound strange, but trust me, you'll find a whole other admiration for those two body parts by the end of the article.
Make sure that if you haven't already that you check out the interview that we posted on Tuesday with the wonderful SomeKindaWonderful (good pun good pun.) You can find it under our 'Last Issue' tab!
I hope that you all enjoy this issue and have a wonderful weekend!
