YOUNG GUNS CONCERT REVIEW

There truly aren't enough words in the world to describe how amazing the adrenaline rush is when you finally see a band perform that you've been looking forward to seeing for ages. That's the exact feeling I got when I had the pleasure of seeing Young Guns, an alternative rock band from London. They were 1 of 3 opening acts for You Me At Six, another British band. I'd been introduced to them around summer of last year and immediately fell in love with their music. They sounded as amazing live as they do on their studio version songs. It's always so great when bands sound as good in concert as they do on their recorded tracks.
Their stage presence was also unreal. They had the entire crowd jumping and cheering for them and by the time the set ended, every single person in the venue was pumped and ready for the show. The lead singer saw me singing along to their songs and made sure to pay attention to me by grabbing my hand and pointing as I sang along. Ben, the drummer, even gave me the setlist once their bit was over.

I ended up meeting them after the show as they were waiting around the merch area and meeting anyone who approached them. I greeted them all and told them that they put on an amazing performance and they seemed so humbled by all the praise and attention they were getting. I was at the barrier for the show so I unfortunately didn't get any good photos because the lights kept creating a glare on my phone, but I've included one of the photos from meeting a few of the band members after the show. I would highly recommend that if you are given the chance, you make sure to see this band in concert.
