For all of those in the Southern Hemisphere, like myself, it’s now Springtime and that means it’s time for change. Spring is a time of new beginnings; the birds chirp, the flowers bloom and new life starts. It brings about new fashion to fit the new weather, along with spring-cleaning and new goals for people to try and change their lives in one way or another.

PLAYLIST: LOVE
Recently I found myself getting lucky in the love department and scored myself a wonderful boyfriend. So as the excited teenage girl I am I decided to create a playlist with a wide spread of songs that make me think of that special someone. Have a listen when you’re thinking about your crush, spending time with your fave, or just want some chilled songs.

PLAYLIST: REFLECTION ON THE SUBJECT OF LOSS
Sometimes we just need a day to get everything out and reflect on life, love and loss. Having recently lost an important person in both mine and my family's life, I have been looking back onto my life and realising how much more I need to appreciate. This short playlist is the perfect accompaniment to a good, old-fashioned cry or a bit of reflection. I hope it inspires you to make the most of life, because no one will be around forever.

HOW DO YOU ANSWER A QUESTION LIKE THAT?
It was one of those uncomfortable instances in class when the teacher confronts you with the demand of telling the class a fact about yourself. As a college freshman, I assumed those silly icebreakers were over and done with, but as I sat in class and listened to the students share facts about themselves, I realized it wasn’t.

FROM SHELF TO SCREEN
A book by definition is “a written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers”, but aren’t they so much more than that? A book contains a story that can transport you to anywhere, whether it is on the other side of the globe or to a whole new universe! They contain adventures that we live vicariously through and characters that we become attached too. Books are a form of art and allow us to escape our reality; it’s the same with movies. The words on the pages come to life when books are adapted into films and being able to follow the journey from your shelf to the screen is always fun. Start marking your calendars or rush to your local bookstore because these are my top four books that are becoming movies, some of which are out soon!
