Well, here's to another issue of Aura 32!
It's finally Friday and I couldn't be happier at the thought that I can sleep for as long as I want tomorrow.
In today's issue we continue with the theme for this week: Happy Place. Leena Singh wrote a wonderful piece titled "You Are What You Wear" and discusses problems in the fashion industry with criticisms of people's choices. Kelly Peacock's article "Feelin' Good" discusses her own personal struggles, and suggests ways you can try to get out of a funk. And lastly, Caitlin Usui's article on "Music: More Than Just Money" delves into Taylor Swift's decision to not upload her latest album to Spotify, and why music is so important and helpful.
I loved reading the articles for this issue- and I hope that you do too! Have a wonderful weekend!

P.S. Next week's theme is..... My BFF (and Ever!)

FEELIN' GOOD
It was that feeling.
You know what I’m talking about?
That overwhelming, gut-wrenching, soul-sucking, heartbreaking feeling; it captivated every fiber of your being and planted dead flowers throughout your body and let no space for butterflies to flutter.
It was one of those nights. The surrounding quiet was just too loud. You choked on nothing but the bitter emptiness that burned through your chest and pleaded for something. You desperately craved something other than the feeling of simple nothing.
No matter what we do and no matter what we say is wrong. How we dress, eat, speak, and even breathe. All of it is wrong. Society has set up this perfect world with specific guidelines for men and women with rewards and consequences for our actions. What is ‘perfect’, though? According to some, if you are not like the rest, you are weird. You don’t belong.

EDITORS' NOTE
Finally, it's Friday!
Luckily, Wednesday was my last day of school this week thanks to New Jersey public schools having off on Thursday and today. Not only that but there's only one more week left until it's the week of Thanksgiving. The thought that I can almost smell the delicious food that's going to be eaten is the only thing getting me through these next weeks.
Enough about holiday meals, let's talk a bit about this issue.
Keeping with the "Thinking Globally" theme for this week, the wonderful Caitlin has given us an insight on Japanese pop in her article 'Music: A Mighty Unifier' and talks about her interest in learning more about her culture and where she's from through music. Gabriella wrote a fantastic piece on cultural appropriation in fashion which is SO important to understand and appreciate. And finally, Lyncoln wrote an inspiring piece on why you should appreciate your feet. I know, it might sound strange, but trust me, you'll find a whole other admiration for those two body parts by the end of the article.
Make sure that if you haven't already that you check out the interview that we posted on Tuesday with the wonderful SomeKindaWonderful (good pun good pun.) You can find it under our 'Last Issue' tab!
I hope that you all enjoy this issue and have a wonderful weekend!

ZOELLA: YOUTUBE STAR SPEAKS OUT ABOUT ANXIETY
Zoe Sugg, better known as Zoella, is a beauty/lifestyle blogger and YouTuber, with nearly 6 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Aside from beauty and fashion, Zoe dedicates videos and blog posts to issues which surround young people’s lives.
A year ago, Zoe made a video called “Dealing with Anxiety and Panic Attacks”. Not many YouTubers make personal videos about themselves, and we tend to think we know a lot about YouTubers, when in fact we don’t. Lots of people make the assumption that because YouTubers can sit down and talk in front of a camera for 10/20 minutes and then upload themselves to YouTube, that they have a massive amount of self-confidence. Zoe shares with us during this video that is a misconception and she, in fact, has suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for 10 years.
Zoe explains what a panic attack is and the reason why people may suffer with them. She also explains what experiences she has had when having a panic attack and how she finally came to the decision to see a local GP and ask for some help.
