Guess who’s back to rave about an awesome, musician named Scott Helman... AGAIN. If you didn’t give him a listen after reading my last article on him, you better do it this time. Helman recently released his new EP titled Augusta. This 7 track EP features 5 new songs and 2 songs from his other EP, Songs For Friends. 

I can list about a thousand reasons for you to listen to Scott Helman’s new EP, but you should listen to it because it’s just incredibly amazing and every other word that is a synonym for amazing. 

SIR SLY CONCERT REVIEW

Have you ever seen a lead singer head bang so hard that you just admire the pace, stamina, and strength the person has? Because this past Saturday night, I stood in awe as I watched Landon Jacobs from Sir Sly head bang and dance on a stage much too small for him. 

Sir Sly are a pop indie band from Los Angeles, California who came onto the music scene two years ago. The band consists of five members: Landon Jacobs, Hayden Coplen, Jason Suwito, Philippe Gutierrez, and Chase Kensrue.

SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: SCOTT HELMAN

There are no words to describe just how amazing the guy who makes this music is. NO WORDS. I found out a few weeks ago and I’m already obsessed with his music. I don’t usually rave about musicians, but Scott Helman blew me away when I heard his original songs. His music is so raw and deep that it feels like a flesh wound (I’m saying this with a positive connotation just wait for it) that you never want to heal because the burn is too good (told you).  

TRXYE ALBUM REVIEW

On June 26 of this year, Youtube phenom Troye Sivan announced that he signed a record deal with EMI Australia. Little did his loyal fans know that he had actually been signed with this record label since June 5, 2013. This deal included an EP entitled TRXYE to be released on August 15, 2014. Fans went crazy over this news. An internet campaign in support of this music release went viral with thousands of fans switching their Twitter profile pictures to mock ups of the TRXYE album cover with pictures of themselves dawning a blue filter and a red dash over their eyes stating the EP’s title.
