EDITORS' NOTE

Happy Tuesday!

We have some exciting news to share with all of you lovely readers! To aspiring writers, photographers, and artists: you have the opportunity to have your work featured on Aura 32! The editors have decided to allow 'featured writers/artists' to submit work and have the chance to be featured. There's also the chance that you'll be asked to be added to our actual team as a permanent member!

A few requirements are necessary to ensure that we are getting the best quality we can from you:

  1. All articles submitted must be AT LEAST 300 words minimum. Any articles that are submitted with less words will be sent back and denied. However, if you are submitting artwork or photography, the minimum does not apply. Instead, there must be a caption or brief description of the meaning of the piece(s), or the behind the scenes of the piece(s).
  2. Any photo that is attached in an article must be credited to its rightful owner and the owner must be stated (even if it happens to be your own work).
  3. There are no set topics but you may write about any of the current topics discussed on our site as well as creative writing (poetry, short stories)  and also anything you deem interesting.
  4. THIS IS ENTIRELY VOLUNTARY. You will not be paid for your work when it is published on our site.
Happy writing! We look forward to hearing from you!

Please send all submissions, questions, or concerns to liv@aurathirtytwo.com along with a short bio about yourself.

PERSONAL REFLECTION: SAKINA INDRASUMUNAR

When I was in high school, I had a passion for Conceptual Art Photography. I would go to the beach one weekend and take my sister with me to use her as a model. I occasionally take self-portraits to portray how I'm feeling or what has inspired me to take the self-portrait concept. Whenever I got inspired, I would always have a plan for a shoot and either shoot that day or the day after. Below are some pictures I have created.

LONGLEAT ZOO

Ever since I was a baby, visiting the zoo was always my favourite thing to do with my family. Now I'm 16 and I still love the zoo. On my family holiday this summer, my family and I went to Longleat Zoo, a place where we have been many times before, but we love so much. My favourite thing about Longleat is that you get to go on a safari in the comfort of your own car, driving around the different animal enclosures to get up and close with all the animals.
